Entry requirements
- With GCSEs: No specific subjects required. Helpful: Biology, Combined Science, Geography. Typical: Usually five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, often including English and maths; colleges set their own requirements.
Careers it leads to
- Farmer or farm manager: Runs crops, livestock and machinery, often managing staff and budgets.
- Horticulturist or gardener: Grows and cares for plants in gardens, nurseries, parks and estates.
- Tree surgeon (arborist): Plants, cares for and safely cuts trees, often working at height.
