- With A-levels: Needs A-level Chemistry; A-level Biology or A-level Physics or A-level Maths. Helpful: Biology. Typical: A*AA–AAA.
- With the IB Diploma (Higher Level subjects): Needs IB Chemistry (Higher Level); IB Biology (Higher Level) or IB Physics (Higher Level) or IB Maths: Analysis and Approaches (Higher Level). Typical: About 36–38 points, usually with 6 or 7 in the Higher Level subjects listed.
