- With a BTEC or college diploma: Needs BTEC Agriculture. Typical: DMM–MMM.

- Farmer or farm manager: Runs crops, livestock and machinery, often managing staff and budgets.
- Rural surveyor or land agent: Advises on managing, valuing and selling farms, estates and rural land.
- Conservation or ecology officer: Protects habitats and wildlife, often working outdoors.
